KCC La Vie En Rose has hosted the event for the past several years and is doing so again this year at their gorgeous outdoor venue in Lower Houghton.

Calendars will be on sale (R150 each) at the event.

More about the calendar…

This is the seventh year of production for the calendar project which has to date raised over R700,000 for SSPCA.  The theme for 2018’s  calendar is “Mutts Matter;” and celebrates the “pavement special” dog one usually finds at shelters. He is a pooch made up of a kaleidoscope of breeds, making each “mutt” more unique than the next. As we always say “‘ mixed’ is our favourite breed.’

Specialist pet photographer Emma O’Brien photographed the calendar once again.

Emma is the patron photographer of the Sandton SPCA and other shelters and is passionate about promoting the message of adopting dogs from shelters rather than buying them from pet stores or breeders.  Emma says, “rescue pets are often overlooked because they may not be as pretty as a pure breed dog, or because people think they will be problematic, but that’s simply not the case.”

Come join us for a glass of wine & see why we love mutts so much!

All proceeds from the calendars and the evening go directly to the Sandton SPCA and the work we do in rehoming unwanted animals and creating awareness around animal cruelty.
